Magnify Marketing at TFM

Last week Magnify Marketing visited the Technology for Marketing event at The Olympia in Kensington.   We had 3 main objectives:   Find new and innovative companies for our clients Explore how other marketing agencies present themselves Collect as many free pens as possible!   During our time spent at the event, we ran into several companies each with their own new and innovative product or service who were enthusiastic to ‘pitch’ their ideas to us. With this being the Technology for Marketing event the majority of the focus was around using data efficiently.   The first company we spoke to were WeLoveData. They spoke to us about numerous studies in which they'd used data for national chains and demonstrated impressive ROI. An additional service on offer was the ability to profile and in turn identify new potential leads. Which has obvious benefits to our clients who're interested in building new data sources beyond their current channels.   A partner of WeLoveData, Fast Stats, were positioned opposite and were keen...

Chris Robshaw at Rileys Haymarket

Chris Robshaw at Rileys Haymarket

When we received a call from Zeus Events to host a Chris Robshaw testimonial night at Rileys Haymarket, we all had one look at each other in the office and thought one thing – what a fantastic opportunity this is to show what we can do with our screen technology for an event. To celebrate ten years in professional rugby, Robshaw was hosting a sports night filled with beer, banter and bar games, as well as a raffle and Q&A hosted by Sky Sports’ Alex Payne. The Harlequins player also brought with him a select few of his rugby mates, including Nick Easter and Marland Yarde. Pilsner Urquell were partners of the event, showcasing their portable bars along with two tanks of beer to keep the rugby fans well fuelled. Magnify Marketing’s challenge was to bring the event to life through the 30 different screens in the venue and encourage high levels of social engagement. Content selection was critical using some key videos...

Grand opening of Walkabout Brighton

Grand opening of Walkabout Brighton

Last week the Magnify team visited the grand opening of Walkabout in Brighton. Expectations were high following the visit to a newly refurbished Bristol venue last month showing off a ‘new look’ Walkabout. The brand identity had seamlessly changed whilst still keeping the laid back Australian vibe. A classier outfit all round. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised at just how close it is from the iconic beachfront – just a pebble’s throw away. The expectations we had were met as we strolled into the venue bustling with excited customers. Crisp TV content was made visible at every glance ranging from sport to surfing to sales. The bar was waiting stocked up with the finest Australian imports – VB, Carlton Draught and Bundaberg to name a few. If you’re visiting a Walkabout I would definitely recommend trying one of these deliciously crisp beers, if there’s one thing Australians know it’s how to produce a delightful thirst quenching beverage. The...

Five star for a reason

Five star for a reason

Magnify Marketing has been fortunate enough to work on the new menu for the World Famous American Bar at the five star Savoy on The Strand. Now 125 years old this venue was serving drinks the same year the Eiffel Tower was finished! Now as if this was not pressure enough to get the new menu right then there was another type of pressure that was my Nan. Whilst she sadly left us a while back, her memory lives on and the Savoy was the place she held above all others. Whilst a hard working Londoner all her life, the Savoy was a rare treat for those very special occasions and became the bench mark for all others. We lost count of the times we heard that where she had just been was “good, but it was no Savoy” Therefore working on the menu became so much more than just a print and design job. The end result looks fantastic and...
